Between The Wars

Obligatory ex-member list; Tim Shaw who currently sings for Ensign, Bill who played with Thursday for their first and best album and who currently plays guitar with The Procedure. Chris of The Purpose fame, Paul who currently drums for Endgame and lastly the young gun Jon. An ex-member cast like this speaks for itself. What these five incredibly talented and dedicated veterans of the punk rock community have collaborated to create is a unique and refreshing take on the metal influenced hardcore genre. Comparing Between the Wars to any band is far too restricting when they blend so many seemingly disparate styles from crushing hardcore to melodic metal. Think Dag Nasty writing 108 songs.

Cannonball

Formed in 2004, this four piece hardcore punk band from New Providence, New Jersey are too busy playing naked to take themselves too seriously. Fast, aggressive, pissed off punk that spans the gamut of influences from the Cro-Mags to Tear it Up. A hardcore punk band that doesn't forget that screaming in a basement should be fun.

This Means War

This Means War began in the Spring of 2004, when HC veteran Jay Carter (ex- Sick Society) sought out Derik (ex- The Scarlet Letter, Automaton, Monster X, 97a, Taste of Fear... and currently with The Fire Still Burns). Multiple lunatics came and went over the next few months, until Justin (who has spent time in All Out War, Tears of Frustration, Inhuman, Evacuater) and Daryl (former Citizens Arrest vocalist, Born Against drummer, and founder of Taste of Fear and Abazagorath) further solidified the line-up. Finally, the addition of Jesse (of No Contest and Something in the Water) saw a diverse convergence of ideals (and mental illnesses) that could only forcast bad fortune with a chance of devastation.  Fast and heavy (literally and figuratively), This Means War is your next favorite band, I said it.
